This study was prepared by a team of Tunisian experts and examines how certain legal texts relate to the civil and political rights under Article 49 of the Tunisian Constitution, including laws adopted before and after the 2014 Constitution.
Civil and political rights in the light of the provisions of Article 49 of the Constitution focuses on the following rights and freedoms:
- Freedom of movement
- Freedom of peaceful assembly and demonstration
- Freedom of expression and communication
- Freedom of association
- The right to a fair trial
