Since the Tunisian Constitution was adopted in 2014, DRI has continuously monitored its implementation and reported findings on a six-monthly basis. Now in its 11th edition, the latest report covers developments during the period of 1 April 2020 to 30 September 2020.
In this period, there was only modest progress in implementation. Two government decrees related to the application of the “Code des Collectivités Locales” (decentralization law) were issued while a whole section of the Constitution is still awaiting application.
