Since the Tunisian Constitution was adopted in 2014, DRI has continuously monitored its implementation and reported findings on a six-monthly basis. Now in its 12th edition, the latest report covers developments during the period of 1 October 2020 to 31 March 2021.
During this time, there was only modest progress of implementation. One government decree related to the application of the “Code des Collectivités Locales” (decentralisation law) was issued while a whole section of the Constitution is still awaiting application.
